The mission of the "Sparkle" project is to create family-friendly park environment, and improve public safety at Arcade Creek Park.. The fundraising goal is $141,000; plans are to fulfill that total by Fall 2018.  As of December 1, 2017, a total of $67,785.50 has been raised or given for the project.

The Arcade Creek Parks and Recreation Board of Directors voted unanimously in October of 2016 to give $35,000 from local impact fees collected from new development to the project, and another $20,000 to match funds collected from community contributions.

The goal of this improvement project is to provide new park amenities such as;

  • an off-leash dog park,
  • covered picnic area near playground,
  • improved accessibility via new walkways,
  • renovation of one tennis court into a multi-sport court and removal of the other leaving space for future new development,
  • parking lot improvements,
  • new park security lighting that is solar powered   and

The District has already completed a new play device and added a new bench in the play area.

Your help and contribution today can make a significant difference and give a direct benefit to Arcade Creek Park and the community that will be appreciated for decades.
