ARCADE CREEK PARK “SPARKLE” IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The mission of the "Sparkle" project is to create family-friendly park environment, and improve public safety at Arcade Creek Park.. The fundraising goal is $141,000; plans are to fulfill that total by Fall 2018. As of December 1, 2017, a total of $67,785.50 has been raised or given for the project.
The Arcade Creek Parks and Recreation Board of Directors voted unanimously in October of 2016 to give $35,000 from local impact fees collected from new development to the project, and another $20,000 to match funds collected from community contributions.
The goal of this improvement project is to provide new park amenities such as;
The District has already completed a new play device and added a new bench in the play area.

In partnership with the Sacramento Parks Foundation (SPF), a 501©3 non-profit organization, the Arcade Creek Parks and Recreation District has arranged for an account dedicated specifically for the improvement project. Donors can be assured that any contribution made to SPF for the Arcade Creek “SPARKLE” improvement project will be earmarked as such and spent only on that project.

Arcade Creek Recreation and Park District is always looking for funding and manpower to improve upon our district. Funds can be given for specific use or to the District to allow to use where they are most needed. Volunteers can be utilized in the parks, at programs, fund raising and other opportunities.
