Description:
This ten-acre natural riparian wetland is rich in native habitat. The Jo Smith Nature Trail begins at Arcade Creek Park, The trail runs along the south side of Arcade Creek Park and in the Verde Cruz Creek floodplain. Newly installed interpretive exhibits highlight the habitat of the area as well as providing information about Arcade Creek Watershed and volunteer information and area wetland activities.
Notice: The section of the Jo SmithTrail under the Garfield Ave. bridge is closed for repairs. Construction will begin on Monday October 3 to repair flood damage to the trail. It will be re-opened as soon as the repairs are completed.
