The Arcade Creek Recreation and Park District is currently accepting applications for the following positions:
These positions work with children at the after school ASES program or at Summer Camp programs. The Recreation Leader is responsible for implementation of program.
The program consists of recreational and educational programming. Staff must be 18 and have 40 units of college or pass the Twin Rivers Para-educator test. Staff must have TB test and pass fingerprinting/background check. The ASES program runs M-F during the school year from 3-6:30 p.m. The Summer Camp program will have two sites, one half day and one full day. Maximum number of hours at summer camp is 5.5 per day.
Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Administering after-school programs, including academic assistance, enrichment programs, arts and crafts, recreation and sports activities. Other duties include supervision or staff, preparation of program reports, curriculum development and support; equipment inventory and disbursement; guidance, counseling and mentoring of program participants, troubleshooting issues with parents, participants, and school administration, and basic custodial duties
